Ing’s Peace Project on the Sidewalk

When we turn on the media, internet, radio or television we hear the most of negative news.  Seems like bad news overpowers our lives.  The killing in the church and everywhere, including wars, and fighting aboard makes me want to go to sleep and never get up.  But in reality we cannot do that.  Life has to go on no matter what the circumstance.  I thought about creating some kind of positive activity that can make people smile and see some creative work to inspire others.  I met two of our good friends Joanne Leone and Patricia Meidel who attended John’s play reading in NYC.  I asked them if they would like to join me doing peace artwork in front of our shop during lunch time between 12 noon to 2 pm.  They said they will join me.   On Thursday, June 25, 2015 John and I prepared tables and chairs to put in front our shop to display my peace project artwork.  And for our two artists old friends, and Yaya a young talent artist, to join me.

The followings are my emails thanking Patricia, Joanne and Yaya with some of the pictures that I took at our peace artwork gathering that day.

 Hi Pat,

We were very happy with result from our peace artwork in front of our shop.  You really brought happiness and positive reaction to our small community.  Our presentation to other people is activated the idea to the others who saw our activity.  John told me that the coffee –art gallery at the corner in our block and the restaurant next to our shop want to do some kind of outdoor activity also.

Thank you so much for being a first group to activate an interest to other to influence people to think positive.   You, artists make people happy and make people think in a creative and positive direction.

I love your calligraphy artwork.  Your spontaneous work is impressive.  Thanks again for being a great friend and helping me for our little event.

I am looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday coming.  Yaya said she will join us again.  and a couple more local artists would like to join with us also.

We always think of you and miss you if we did not see you for a while.  The attachments are some of the pictures that I took.  I hope you like them.  The following link is the latest project I posted on my blog please take a look when you have time.

Titti’s Flowered Bouganvillea from Italy

Good morning,  Ing (it’s 6.25 p.m. here)          7.3.2015

I hope John and you are enjoying the summer. I promised to let you see my flowered bouganvillea. It’s at its best, as high as my three -storey house.

As you like poetry together with some photos I’m sending you a poem by William Wordsworth “Daffodils”. I like it a lot as the poet is so amazed, happy and involved in nature that it seems to me to be there “in such a jocund company “.

I hope your  life is going on better and better with all your interesting projects,

Love

Titti

Titti’s  two Photos of Flowered Bouganvillea

 Hi Titti,

Your flowered bougainvillea is more than beautiful.  I never have seen such gorgeous flowers.  I wish I can have them.  You are so lucky to have such a fantastic tree that produced unbelievable stunning flowers.  Thank you so much for sending the pictures to me.  You are a very good gardener.  You cultivated your plants quite well.  The tree looks very healthy and strong.

You and Roberta have one thing in common both of you love the same poem.  Roberta sent me the poem.  I love it too and I posted the Daffodils poem on my blog page.

Please also check my blog page I posted a couple more projects.  I appreciate your comments on these new projects.

I will show your bougainvillea flowers’ pictures to my husband.  I hope he does not steal them to post on his Facebook page.  I hope you do not mind if he does it.

I am always glad to receive your email.  Please send me more pictures that you took.  You are a good photographer.

The attachments are the pictures I took from my Peace Project in front our shop. And I captured the image of a Black Swallowtail Butterfly on Monday, June 22, 2015; see more pictures on my blog page.  The links are:
