Saturday, August 11, 2012 was the day that John & I participated in the 6th Annual Arts and Music Fair at ElwoodPark, Newark, New Jersey. I was very busy explaining about my Peace Project. All day long, people young and old came to express their thoughts about Peace. I recall one of many interesting events, when three young girls were very excited to see their pictures and their comments on my finished poster from last year (2011). They were discussing with each other whether or not to write the comments again for this year (2012). With cheerful laugher they were gliding out of my booth after they finished writing their comments. They are young, innocent and full of life, love and fun. A little while later they appeared with a middle aged man. One of the girls explained about my Peace Project to him. I guess he was her father. She not only brought him to my booth, but like a busy bee she pointed out the space for him to write his comments while three pairs of eyes watched intensively. I would exchange anything to be young and innocently free again.
Some comments on “What does Peace mean to you?” are: Peace means happiness, love, quiet, friendship, freedom and a lot more in Spanish and English.
