Rich and Poor, Within and Without
House of Worship
Rich and Poor, Within and Without
Save the Forest Save the Whales
Over Population Two Sides of One
Over Population
The sculptures were produced from 2008 to 2011. They are inspired by world events then and now. For example in the sculpture titled, The Wall, there are two societies. One side represents milk and honey, the prosperous society. The opposite side is the poor who want to climb over the wall to the prosperous side. It can represent The Great Wall Of China, The Berlin Wall, the wall between Israel and Palestine, the wall between United States and Mexico and a lot more walls that can separate people between races, religions and other beliefs. The Wall, itself can be interpreted as a wall between family, parents and children, wife and husband and other conflicts between people. So what we should ask ourselves is, “Do we need the wall?”, “Can we get along?”, “Can we help one another?” I hope that by viewing these sculptures you may think about our world societies and work to help each to progress into a more civilized world.
The titles of the other sculptures are as the follows:
Iraq War Memorial
Slave Workers of the World
Peace with Nature
Tower of Freedom
House of Cards
Rich and Poor, Within and Without
House of Worship
Save the Forest
Over Population
Save the Whales
Two Sides of One
These sculptures are not for sale. I will save them as a collection of my artwork to share with others. The signed art prints on the wall are for sale. If you are interested in purchase any of my signed prints please contact Noreen Gomez, her phone number is 973-972-4795.
Any of your comments will be greatly appreciated.

Ing’s Peace Project and The Wall
This is the first time I introduced my second new artwork poster for my Peace Project. I called it “Peace with Nature”. People can write their comments on “What does Peace mean to you”, or they can comment about their relationship with Nature and Peace. The peace symbol came from my second new peace sculpture, I produced the sculpture in late 2011 and the roses came from the rose photograph I took from our backyard garden in Spring 2011,
The Wall is one of my participation art series that I produced in 2010. The wall means so much for example, the actual walls that humans have produced such as,The Great Wall Of China, The Berlin Wall, the wall between Israel and Palestine, the wall between United States and Mexico. There are also a lot more walls that can separate people between races, religions, and other beliefs. There are also the imaginary walls such as walls between family, parents and children, wife and husband and other conflicts between people.
Below are the comments from the participants in the exhibition on my second Peace Project Poster “Peace with Nature”:
I see Love and Peace.
Peace is Unconditional Acceptance of Self, Other and Everything that Happen.
Beauty & Love together
Peace has much to do with empathy and nonjudgment
Peace and love are essential to a calm life
Like these two roses, I would like people to line in peace with each other, life is beautiful like the roses here.
Peaceful flower, Peace & Love around the world.
CANSTRUCTION, Rutgers Against Hungers, Kearny High School, Feeding the World
I also presented another project of my Participation Art series called “The Wall”. I asked people to write their comments about The Wall when they see the poster. The following are some of the comments:
Rich or Poor we are one. Live in unity.
Knowledge, tears down the Wall
All Connected
I like this side of the wall—-, don’t need & see the other———.
Make love not war
Struggle is a part of us, our need for attainment.
I see bears on wall.
The first wall to scale is our own introversion.
A realistic utopia
Ing’s Peace Project
The process evolved into an attempt to have people write in answer to the question, “What does peace mean to you?” This writing is done on multiple two by four foot prints that have the image of my peace sculpture. Comments reflect personal interpretations of peace. In the future I intend to have a gallery display of a continuous wall of these prints with these personal messages. I have encouraged those who can do so, to write in different languages. There are messages in many languages. In addition to displaying this project in our shop we have taken the project to a number of settings to have people participate.
