This is the first half of a monologue with voices that recreate the experiences of an eleven year old boy on Christmas Day in Wales 1953. Family members reveal cultural and generational differences as they prepare for immigration from Swansea to America. Part two of this monologue explores the journey on board the Queen Elizabeth in l954 crossing the Atlantic to New York.

A Welsh boy immigrating to the fantasy of new life experiences the journey we all

take from childhood to adolescence.
