Give Us Freshness and Beauty Not Ruins
What is life without beauty
and freshness from the rain?
Dryness and despair
Slithers in
What is life without beauty
and freshness from the rain?
Restlessness nervousness
In body and mind
What is life without beauty
and freshness from the rain?
Fighting and arguing
By humans
What is life without beauty
and freshness from the rain?
Chaos and confusion
What will life be?
What is life without beauty
and freshness from the rain?
Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and war zones
Images reappearing
What is life without beauty
and freshness from the rain?
Sadness and hopeless
Of Refugees
Life with beauty
And freshness from the rain
Red roses by the window
Moistened with rain drops
Happiness and smiles
In the morning
Waking up with beauty
In front of my eyes
Last night there was a heavy rain. I slept comfortably. It was a change from the heat of August summer month. I was happy for my plants at the backyard receiving plentiful water from the rain. I peeked out the window in my bedroom after I got up in the morning. I saw beautiful red roses, and the green leaves of the rose, the Grapefruit tree, and ivy leaves on the wall. They are more beautiful than usual from the rain drops that cling to them. They were the best images for me to capture, reminding me of their beauty and freshness.
While I was organizing the pictures, the words came to me. I grabbed the pen and my feelings poured down through the ink as the message I presented above.
