The Last Day Posts of Ing on Google+ Site April 1,2019 Part 5
Google + closed their operation on April 2, of this year, 2019. It is more than one week now. The more time goes by, the more I miss people who followed my google + site, and people that contributed their time to post their work in different communities. I decided to present on my website, the contents of last day of posts on my Google+ site, which I had been shared from other members of my community and other Google+ communities.
It is to remind me of human interaction and relationships around the world. Even though I did not see them in person, communication and participation with their ideas, and work, can interconnect our feeling of kinship. I wish all of them the best, and hope we may meet again in the future. The lesson one learns is that we need more interactions and communications between all humans around the world to be able to find kinship with one another. This communication can help reduce human conflict and war that occurs around the world, now, and in the future.

Hordes of black butterflies of various sizes and species cover the grand staircase, mirrors, walls, and
doors of the Milan-based Fondazione Adolfo Pini. The dark and vast swarm is a part of the more than 10-year series Black Cloud by Mexican artist Carlos Amorales (previously) as a part of his solo exhibition THE ACCURSED HOUR. The butterflies surround an installation of paper cut-outs from his series Life in the folds, a project of gray-toned human and tree silhouettes which address the nature of human violence against other humans. The exhibition opened April 2 and continues through July 8, 2019. You can see more of Amorales’s projects on his website and Instagram. (via designboom)

#DaimlerTrucks
just announced that it’s acquiring a majority stake in #TorcRobotics,
a deal that will see the two companies collaborating on the development of
Level 4 self-driving trucks. Daimler Trucks is the world’s largest truck
manufacturer and a division of the larger #Daimler Group.
Torc, meanwhile, was founded in 2005. For most of its history, it specialized
in self-driving software and sensors for commercial, industrial and military
use, before recently shifting its attention to consumer vehicles. Earlier this
year, it announced a partnership with public transportation company Transdev to
create autonomous shuttles that connect people to transit. The #autonomousdriving
company is headquartered in Blacksburg, Va., where Torc and Daimler executives
announced the deal.

Sir Thomas
Wyatt: Poems Summary and Analysis of ‘Madam, Withouten Many Words’
Summary
In the first verse of the song, the narrator challenges his lady directly to
decide whether she is accepting of his suit. In the first four lines he asks
her to give up her tricks and rely instead on her wit to impress him and show
her true worth.
He explains in the second verse that he burns with passion, and requests that
if she has any compassion for him, she would tell him clearly, yes or no.
By the final verse, he says that he will be happy with the answer yes, but if
she says no, they will return to being friends as they were before. She will
then be free to move on to get herself a new man, and the narrator will be
independent again, and no longer possessed by the lady.
Analysis
The song is direct in its message, short and to the point. It is a contrast to
the plaintive appeals of the wronged lover, in that the narrator asks directly
for an acknowledgement of the lady’s true feelings. The opening address is
polite but curt; the narrator does not wish to use many words – the implication
being that many may have already been wasted on this subject.
The brevity and clarity of purpose and direction in this song is a refreshing
deviation from the traditional sorrowful and grief-stricken appeal to the lost
love. The narrator tells the lady to leave her ‘bourds’, or tricks, and instead
reveal her wit publicly. Here Wyatt suggests that the lady who is the intended
audience is more than the average court beauty – she has intelligence too, a
trait not often commended in women at this time. This appeal to the lady to
show her cleverness publicly would fit with the historical accounts of Anne
Boleyn as a sharp and knowledgeable woman, as well as a great beauty.
In the second verse the narrator talks of himself as one who ’burns alway’.
This expression could suggest that he is tortured by his rejection, but there
are other implications to this phrase. The narrator could equally burn with
anger, shame or even in the recognition of his sin. A likely interpretation of
Wyatt’s intention would be a combination of these. Courtly liaisons were rarely
private affairs for long, and Wyatt had at least two relationships that were
controversial and public – one with Anne Boleyn and another with Elizabeth
Darrell. In addition to this, Wyatt’s marriage was destroyed by his wife’s
infidelity; the author certainly experienced being ‘burnt’ in relationships. He
asks if she has pity but does not directly ask for pity. This distinction is
important in affirming the strength of the narrator in the relationship.
The final verse suggests that the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ will not have dramatic
implications but rather clear and purposeful ones. If she agrees to his suit,
then he will be ‘fain’ (happy). There is of course a clever pun at use here as
the homophone ‘feign’ means false, and it would be difficult to tell the two
words apart without seeing the written word. If the narrator is rejected, he
says that they will return to being friends. There is no implication that he
will be destroyed by grief or will mourn forever; the result will be
undramatic. The narrator callously implies that the lady will move on to
another lover. He, however, will be content to be ‘mine own’ – his own man. His
final words show that he will be relieved to no longer be owned by the lady.
His freedom sounds much more appealing than her return to the fakery of courtly
relationships, which again affirms the strength of the narrator as opposed to
the audience.

Dear Google+,
thank you for the good time, I will miss you. I always felt like a beta user.
When you let us share circles and when you took that ability away from us. When
you introduced events, when you took them away and when you half-heartedly put
them back somewhere. When you integrated everything into Google+ and when you
ripped everything apart. I liked you even when you introduced collections.
I also felt that your child G+ was not what you hoped it would be and started
neglecting it more and more, and so I was not surprized when you, or rather
“the media”, anounced that you would shut it down. Now that time has
come.
I am sad, but not devastated. I met a lot of great people. I learned a lot on
here, from those people. I met many of these people in real life and made real
friends with some of them. I am thankful for that opportunity.
Dear Google+ friends,
I will miss you too, however, I’m not going away, just moved. I have already
met many of you on the other platforms, although none of them really attracts
me like Google+ did. Slow, bad image quality, weiredest sort algorithms, too many
emoticons (really, I mean, if I want to say more than a + or a thumb up, or a

Tiffany Bozic is a self-taught artist based in Marin, CA who has spent the majority of her life observing the intricacies of the natural world.
Drawing inspiration from her extensive travels to wild places, and the research specimens at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, she composes beautiful large-scale nature illustrations blended with surreal and metaphorical themes.
To create her compositions, Bozic uses multiple layers of watered down acrylic paint on maple wood panels which give a realistic level of detail to each of her paintings.

Rare and Endangered Butterfly Species Recreated in Glass by Laura Hart
April 20, 2019 Andrew LaSane
Glass artist Laura Hart (previously) uses a range of techniques to translate her love of plants and animals into meticulously crafted sculptures. For her “Butterflies” series, the artist has recreated rare species and subspecies from around the world with bright colors and symmetrical designs that perfectly mimic their natural muses.
Never recreating the same species twice, Hart casts the bodies of her one-of-a-kind insects using the lost wax molding and pate de verre kiln casting processes. Each delicate sculpture is around 18cm wide. A glass fusing method is used to make the realistic wings in stages, with intense hues and translucent sections outlined in black. The sections form tiny stained glass windows, altering the light that passes through and reflecting onto the tables and display stands. Sterling silver pieces are added to complete the sculptures, forming the legs, antennae, and proboscides of the colorful creatures.

Where Art Meets Gif: The Hypnotic Animated Gifs of David Szakaly
March 17, 2014 Christopher Jobson
Since 2008 Hungarian/German graphic designer David Szakaly has been churning out some of the most dizzying, hypnotic and wholly original gifs on the web under the name Davidope. His blend of twisting organic forms, flashes of black and white, and forays into pulsing technicolor shapes have inspired legions of others to experiment with the medium, many of whom have been featured here on Colossal. It’s hard to determine the scale of Szakaly’s influence online, but a simple Google image search for “animated gif” brings up dozens of his images that have been shared around Tumblr hundreds of thousands of times.
Szakaly began experimenting with the vector animation program Macromedia Flash back in 1999 where he used the software to create presentations, banners, and other creatives for clients. It was nearly a decade later when he decided to dedicate more time to experimenting with motion graphics and found that Tumblr was a great platform to share his quirky gifs. While he still works in the corporate world on other digital projects, he has also found commercial success making animations for clients around the world. Though it’s his personal work that really stands out. If or when gifs end up on gallery walls, it will be hard to deny Szakaly’s role in getting them there.
