Federal intelligence and security agencies say white supremacist extremists pose America’s deadliest domestic terror threat. The shocking evidence was on full view last week when the FBI busted a plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and overthrow the government. Elizabeth Neumann was assistant secretary for threat prevention at the Department for Homeland Security under President Trump. She says her repeated attempts to flag the dangers of these racist groups were ignored. Trump abruptly ends ’60 Minutes’ solo interview

President Donald Trump abruptly ended a solo interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes” and did not return for an appearance he was supposed to tape with Vice President Mike Pence, according to multiple sources familiar with what happened. After camera crews set up at the White House on Monday, Trump sat down with host Lesley Stahl for about 45 minutes on Tuesday before he abruptly ended the interview and told the network he believed they had enough material to use, according to two sources. CBS News did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment. When reached for comment, the White House did not dispute CNN’s reporting. The President later accused Stahl of not wearing a mask and tweeted out a brief clip of her without one while at the White House. A person familiar with the situation told CNN that the image from the tweet shows Stahl with her producers immediately after Trump ended the interview. Stahl had not yet gone back to get her personal belongings to put her mask back on. She had a mask on from the time she entered the White House and just before the interview began. With about two weeks until the election, Trump has spent this week lobbing scatter-shot attacks and growing upset at depictions portraying his campaign as doomed. His truncated taping on “60 Minutes” seemed an extension of what has been Trump’s visible irritation as he enters the campaign’s final days. #CNN #News #Trump

As Trump limps to the election finish line, all he has left is retweeting outrageous conspiracy theories and relying on absurd Rudy Giuliani claims about a mysterious-October-surprise-Hunter-Biden-laptop. At the town hall with Savannah Guthrie, Trump said he knows nothing about QAnon but blindly retweets QAnon posts anyway. Regarding the Biden laptop story, the Washington Post reporting is instructive regarding Rudy being “worked” by Russian intelligence sources.

Known for his sculptural textiles, Faig Ahmed fuses contemporary glitches and distortions with traditional weaving techniques. A recent artwork, titled “Doubts,” is one of his larger pieces that while conventionally shaped and patterned on top, appears to ooze out into a massive puddle. A stunning piece, the ornate motif blurs into swirls of color and an amorphous shape on the floor.
The Baku, Azerbaijan-based artist (previously) said in a statement that he began “Doubts” about one month prior to widespread lockdowns due to COVID-19.
Because of the quarantine, we had to close our textile studio several times and artwork on the loom was waiting for its time. A few days ago, after seven months, ‘Doubts?’ (was) cut off the loom. There are no more doubts in this carpet, destroying the geometric intelligible boundaries of the patterns—overflowing they geal on the floor—this is the limit of doubts.
